Hey Dolls, Whew! It's been a while...over a month to be exact and so much has been going on during my absence. I went to New York for theCURVYcon and as soon as I returned my daughter started summer dance camp, my husband went out of state for a week, and I still went to work every day during it all. Yo girl is a boss! HA! It's hard out here for a pimp, when you trying to get the money for the rent! LOL Any who, I've purchased so many things over the past few months and I just hope that all or some of the items are still available when I finally get around to posting them. I'll try to get them up on the blog real soon. The outfit below is totally out of my comfort zone but I won't let "THEY" win so I rocked it anyway. I've always been very conservative when it comes to dress but I was feeling a bit fris-KAY bay-BAY!
Hat: & Other Stories (I paid full price and now it's only $18!)
I live in Dallas, TX and I'm sure you all have heard the news about the shootings that occurred here this past week. I live right now the street and was in complete shock when the breaking news popped up on my television. I couldn't sleep that night as I lay saddened by all of these senseless shootings. I have so much I could say but I will only say, PRAY. Pray for all of the families who have lost loved ones to shootings and pray for our country. Pray that we can learn to love more and hate less. xoxo
Hey Dolls, What do you do when you find a bag of long lost pom poms and a glue gun? HAVE A POM POM PARTY!!! I dug out an old pair of sandals and a bag that I've had for years without use and pom pom'd the heck out of them. I love how they add some serious fun to my outfits.
I snatched up this Tie Waist Kimono Top when it first hit the Eloquii site but it sold out before I could get it up on the blog. It's now back in stock and 30% off so you better go snatch it up.
Tassel Earrings: H&M (available in stores)
These wide leg distressed jeans (provided by Lane Bryant) are my new favorites. Unfortunately, they are sold out but I love these and here is a great skirt option.
Hey Dolls, I was feeling so "girly" today so I decided to rock pleats and ruffles. I mean does it really get any more feminine than that? Lately, I've been stepping outside of my comfort zone and wearing more soft hues. Ulla Popken was kind enough to send me this gorgeous pleated skirt from their Studio Untold line. LOVE IT!
